Acupuncture is considered to be one of the oldest medical procedure being used. It originated in China more than 2000 years ago and was introduced in the United States in the 1970’s .<\/p>\n

Acupuncture is a technique of inserting thin needles in specific points on the body to balance the flow of energy or Qi. Some believe that by stimulating specific points it will help boost your body’s natural painkillers and increase your blood flow.<\/p>\n

What Can I Expect During My Acupuncture Session?<\/span><\/h3>\n
The initial consultation here at Central City runs about 30 minutes. Typically treatment session appointments are scheduled for about 45 minutes.<\/div>\n
Our Acupuncturist follows a soft tissue technique to relax the muscles followed with acupuncture needles during your session.  If needed the patient can also receive infra heat services.<\/div>\n
