Business Team of Mixed Races at Office - Central city is looking for 30 Peer Specialist

If you are interested in being a Peer Support Specialist (PSS) in the Coachella Valley,  Central City Community Health is looking to train 30 specialist.  This training includes how to do coaching for clients in the Public Mental Health System (PMHS) in Riverside County in Coachella. Ideal candidates will have a “lived experience.”

The sessions run four weekends in a row.  The trainees will need to travel to Culver City, training on Friday and Saturday’s and spending an overnight.

The program funds all training and travel costs, so there is no cost to trainees!

Partners include cities of Indio and Coachella, and the Riverside University Health Services.
